As Avant One Real Estate’s creative director for social media marketing, Kara Mason combines her knowledge of Southern California’s real estate market with her passion for the arts, entertainment, and writing. She graduated from BYU with honors, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communication with an emphasis in journalism.

Kara’s academic and professional experiences included many travel opportunities around the world and within the United States. These opportunities taught her to work in fast-paced environments, which makes her an asset to the team.

As a child actor in film and television, Kara learned a great deal about perseverance, hard work, and optimism. Today, she enjoys writing about various topics that range from real estate to interior design. She is a skilled communicator who can captivate an audience through the innovative and exciting channels of social media. In addition, her keen awareness of design trends makes it easy for her to relate to the new generation of homebuyers and sellers.

A Southern California native, Kara’s other full-time job is being a wife and mother to two active young boys. Kara values quality time with her husband, children, and large extended family.
